In my head it’s buzzing
But on my tongue it bops
It twists and flips and falters
And on the floor it flops
Choking, gasping, wanting air
It’s not long for this world
A fish that’s out of water
With no hope of return
A once majestic creature
Graceful as can be
But only in its element
Where no one else can see
